Long Valley grasses near Lake Crowley. Long Valley is a caldera, the site of a supervolcano that erupted 730,000 years ago. It is both enormous and beautiful.

Short yellow grasses fill the lower half of the view. There is a sliver of lake. Large mountains are small in the distance, and cumulonimbus clouds dot the sky.
